I BELIEVE!

So I have been kinda down lately and wondering if I have made "wise" choices lately....in a business sense. I feel a tremendous sense of responsibility when it comes to the the finances in my business and wether or not I make it work. I am always worring if my kids are taken care of, etc. So, looking on the internet tonight I came accross this video and I think it sums up my new attitude. I have been working hard and know that when it comes to my family they are happy and that is all that matters. What ever else comes my way is just icing and sometimes the flavor isn't your favorite, but you learn to deal. I am so grateful to my mom who has given me my strenth. Her example as a woman, mom, friend etc., I know I am the person I am today because of her. Love you mom! Anyway that is my babbling for now.

Private :)

So, I guess it's time to protect my babies. Like my sisters after watching the KSL story and then "googling" my chidrens names, you guessed it - I'm am electing to go private. Please let me know if you would like to still have access to my blog. I have really enjoyed keeping up on all the family and friends that I have. I hope to hear from all my blogging friends and I would love to keep sharing my wonderful memories :-)
Take care
Rachel

Holloween Fun

The kids had such a wonderful day. They were picked up by their Aunt Becky and brought down to work so that they could get thier picture with all the Mason Cousins. Then Aunt Becky took them trick or treating. We ended the night at Grandma & Grandpa Henrie's for Dinner it was so nice.

Halloween!!!! *Even for Mikko*

It seems that I get enjoyment out of making my dog look like a STINKING CUTIE! I just love my dog. So, I had to include his halloween picture too......

Carving Pumpkins

It seems like I have had a hard time getting things done. We finally got around to carving pumpkins the night before halloween. Sydnie dug right in, but Cody didn't want to help clean out the "guts". It was so much fun. Sydnie had to draw her face on her pumpkin so I knew where to cut. It was a good time.

Cody's 1st Grade Program & Parade :)

Cody is in first grade now. He has such a sweet teacher. Mrs. Cambell, she is so patient with him and I was able to help with the halloween party this year, it was a lot of fun then they had a parade around the block and then the 1st Grade Program (it was so stinking hot in the gym!)

Sydnie's Halloween Program

Sydnie has an awesome babysitter/pre-school teacher/friend. She does a halloween program every year. It is so much fun to watch.

Crazy September!

Wow, September has flown by so fast. I guess because it is the Jamboree and every year I feel like it comes sooner and sooner! It's so much work, but I guess I have to look at it this way, it's part of the job! I am so thankful to my sister Alicia for being so good to be there every day *except for one morning* OPPS! LOL It was all good. This year we both even got to go on a ride! That was fun. Although my family missed me and I missed them it was a good week. My Daughter thought I went to Mexico :)

Sydnie's Make-up

My sweet 3 year old LOVES everything girly! Especially make-up. Thanks to Hazen (a friend from daycare) Syd got make-up for her birthday last year. I did pretty well hiding the stuff untill recently and now every morning she insists she puts on her make-up! Although this morning tops it off! So I thought it would share :)

Camping

My kids are sure that they would love to live on the mountian. We have spent the last two weekends on the mountian. The kids ride thier 4-wheelers and get as dirty as possible. It's a great time and wouldn't miss it for the world.

Crabs!

So, Grandma and Papa H took the kids to Paiute Reservoir, but missed Scott and Candace, but they ended up going to thier house where they gave our kids Crawfish! Which our kids call "crabs". They were so excited to put them in a jar and wait for mom and dad to come home so that they could scare us so bad that we would pee our pants! ha-ha. They are pretty ugly! (the crabs of course!) Anyway they put them in a jar that was way too small and they hoped they would live through the night. Cody's didn't make it, but Sydnie's did and we had Clint take them out and put them in the pool. Well Syd and Cody thought they were hungry so in the picture you can see them trying to feed the crab a great big sucker on a stick!

Triangles!

Well, this summer Cody has had his motorcycle for about a year now. He has had training wheels on the bike, but we decided it was time for him to go with out them. He calls them his "triangles". I am not sure that he likes the fact that he doesn't have the security, but he's been doing pretty good.

Kathy's Float

This kids got to ride Kathy's float again this year. Every year they look forward to riding the float and boy they had a great time this year. Kathy had water squirters for them to play with and they sure loved the water on such a warm day. We finished off the day by watching fireworks at the Lions Park.

4th of July

We had a great 4th! We spent the night of the 3rd in Aurora and went down to the park to watch fireworks with my family. Grandpa Allen let ALL the Grandkids ride down in his restored jeep. They all thought it was so great - the fireworks weren't too bad either.

Our Camping trip to the UM

So we've been camping a few times and the kids Love it! They tell us that they want to live there. haha. We camped next to this watering hole for cows that usually dries up before summer hits. Coday and Sydnie thought that there was fish in there for sure! So they spent a lot of time fishing. It was really funny when the cows came in to have a drink and the kids were pretty upset that the cows were drinking thier fish! It was too funny :)

Cody's Birthday!!! 6 Years old

So, Cody's 6th Birthday party was a Blast. I rented a water slide and a slip and slide and the kids had a great time! All the Cousins were there and Cody had a wonderful time. I think he was so excited that he couldn't stand himself. It was a great day and we are so glad we have our little man in our lives.
